ODE TO 2020
We've spent a lot of this year isolated from others, tirelessly waiting on the moment when the world can return to normal and we can live without so much uncertainty. Our future has felt out of our hands, impossible to predict or control - which, at times, has been confusing to navigate. We've all felt such intense amounts of emotion in such a small amount of time, with no real knowledge of how to deal with the situation we've found ourselves in. Though, the collective experience of the Pandemic has offered some comfort. We were all looking for anything that could provide a distraction, hoping that we can escape from the bleak reality of 2020.
Yet it felt strangely necessary.
"A year so uncomfortable, so painful, so scary, so raw - that it finally forces us to grow. A year we finally accept the need for change, declare change, become the change. A year we finally band together, instead of pushing each other further apart." - Leslie Dwight
